Another steering question

I am looking into changing my cable steering over to IMCO full hydraulic. I'm wondering if the tilt column used on Formulas will work with the hydraulic helm. I called the TAG line and they said that in 95, if you ordered the hydraulic steering, it was still a cable system with the external hydraulic rams.

You can do this one of two ways.

1 you can get what is called a Add On system. This leaves the cable from the helm to the transom assebly. Then you have the rams outside the boat.

The other way is there are a lot of companies (I believe Imco is one of them) that makes full hydrolic set ups with the tilt helm.

Since you mentioned full hydrolic you will have to go with the later.

Hope that helps.
