311 Mercathode Breaker

I seem to be "popping" the mercathode breaker on one of the motors (which are on the electrical panel under the rear bench). Has anyone experienced this? Has nothing to do with the boat being under power (and, in fact, I believe it happens when I hook up the shore power and turn on the lights or run the engine hatch up). I push it back in and all is well. I believe it is a 3A piece. Thoughts?
