Depth Sounder Help

My depth sounder quit giving a reading ie: it lights up but just flashes “0”. It is the original sounder that was installed and shipped from Formula. I have the original books from Formula and I looked at the depth sounder brochure but it did not have any trouble shooting info or any real instructions. Is there anybody out there that has had a similar problem with their OEM depth sounder? If so where you able to solve the problem or do I need to replace it? Thanks in advance for any help.

I, just today, replaced mine after having the same problem. What brand is yours? I have the gauge and the control box from my old Lowarance. If you think it will help I'll give you a REAL good deal on the two pieces. I replace mine with a Livorsi GL600TH /Shoot-thru. Just one thing though...If you replace the Lowarance, the hole is too big for the new gauge. You will either have to use a bezzle or make some sort of filler to make it fit. Hope this helps.
