The Cig is nice boat, but I would still rather have long sundeck and the interior of the the Fountain. The boating we do on the lakes is quite different than those on the coast.

The extra $100K in my pocket is kinda nice too.

A sample conversation between a Fountain Owner and his neighbor...

Hi Bob. Hi Jim. Good lookin Cigarette boat Bob. Thanks Jim. I didn't realize you owned a Cigarette boat. Just bought it . I'll tell you Bob it has always been a dream of mine to own a Cigarette boat. (Bob is starting to get steamed up.) Well you should think about it Jim. Who can I talk to about getting a nice second hand Cigarette boat?

Look Jim I've had enough. This isn't a Cigarette boat its a Fountain. Oh really Bob, What the FU#K is a Fountain?

100% of the people that say that to me dont realize that Cigarette is the name of a manufacture ......they think its a classification of boat.......they dont know there is even a Cigarette factory.......so not a whole lot to brag about.......

We'll brag about more speed records and championship wins than all other manufactures combined

HEY!!!! this IS the Fountain Fourm!!!

If I was all about "Image" I would own a Cig...but since I'm about "Performance" its a Fountain.

Part II

Jim, Jim, Jim sit down here. Being mentally retarded hasn't hindered your life all that much and you have been able to learn and get by so I'll help you again.

Over the years Fountain has won more Offshore World and National Vee Bottom championships than all of the largest 100 marine manufacturers combined!
What that means Bob is if you have a Cigarette you are watching the back end of a true performace boat, a Fountain, whip your azz...

Here Jim, I know you are only 15 but watch this video.

My appologies. When I sign on I go to the Forums drop down then under quick links, I click on new posts.

Didn't realize this was the Fountain Owners Forum when I posted.

As my signature states

" FOUNTAIN THE ONE OTHERS COMPARE MOST TOO "

Lets see 42 feet less 3 ft for beak is 39 less 2 feet for swim platform is 37
soooooooooo how many other 37 foot V bottoms either race or pleasure can approach the handling and mph that Fountain gets out of there boats? NOT MANY. I have been in formula, scarabs, cigarettes in the 38 foot range and i dont believe they have anything over my 37ft Fountain. Just my
$ .02
