Tutorial on 35 Executioner
I have been pricing new Formula 292's and Fountain 29 Fever's. Today at a boat show I came upon a new leftover 35 Executioner with 496 HO's. I need a core understanding of the positives and negatives of the 35 Executioner, a comparison of the Executioner with the 35 Lightining, true performance numbers for the 35 Executioner with the 496 HO's along with handling characteristics and an estimate of a fair but excellent price for the boat described above. Sorry for all the questions, but this may be a good deal and I have to get a fairly quick understanding of this boat.
Thanks,
Ken
Thanks,
Ken

great boat - expect mid to upper 70's - my understanding is the twin step(lightning) is 3-4 faster with same power - I have a '99 EX - & think its a great, well balanced boat that handles great & ez to drive.

Re: Tutorial on 35 Executioner
I just bought one aprox 2 months ago.Love the boat. Especially
the walk around. I had a 32 Fever & climbing over the windscreen
to get up on the deck,SUCKED!Good top end. 78-79 mph. Slow
out of the hole. Great looking. Can't see very good thru the
windscreen if you like to sit.( I stand mostly)I'm 5'11". Another
2 inches and I'd be above the wind deflector when sitting. The
deflector works really well. Even if your above it,you don't get
wind.It handles good, rides great. Some little nit picky things with
fit & finish work, nothin serious. Mines an brand new 05 and I paid
141500. Thought I got a great deal.

NO comparision...you will love the 35 over the 29. the ability to walk to the front of the boat down the side is worth the extra money alone....BZ

Re: Tutorial on 35 Executioner
I have not yet started to negotiate a purchase price. Wanted to get some information regarding the boat and a benchmark price, most of which has been provided by the previous posts. Thanks very much for the information, I will post again when I have something to report.
