Default Swim Platform Raddle?

Has anyone had a bad rattle in the Swim platform of their Fountains?

Yah but that does not fix it. I was wondering if it needs rejelled, because i replaced the rub rail with new screws and i would of thought that would of helped.

I meant to refiberglass the Top and Bottom in the very back. If that makes sense.

Nothing can be done about it on the stock 32's because they sit rub rail in the water in the rear.
The problem is when in the loud mode, the exhaust is trapped under the swim platform in an air pocket. The 'rattle' is the exhaust building up pressure until it forces it's way out from underneath. MIne vibrates the whole boat, sounds like chit! So I always switch to silent mode whenever off plain and at idle.
I installed SM exhaust last week hoping the loss of 160# in weight will raise the rear enough to keep from trapping the exhuast in the air pocket.

When do you here the rattle??? I had a rattle that I heard at idle but most noticable when the motor was off and the radio (bass) was playing. It ended up being the throttle cable laying in the platform vibrating making an annoying racket... Hopefully its that easy for you.

If its a 32 US1 Fountain hit it on the head. Thats one of the reasons I got rid of my 32.

I always wanted to take a large peice of pipe and hold 1 end up under the platform to 'vent' the pocket just for chits and grins. It goes away as soon as enough speed is abtained to open the airway underneath on mine.
Every dang door, windshield panel and what nots vibrate at idle in the thru hull mode.
