Default new dash

here's my new dash. all new gauges and a new panel, new covers for the trim switches, new boots for the other switches. rustoleum on the throttles (looks okay from a few feet).

All in all i think it'll be a huge improvement. I wish i could find some lights or something other than plastic plugs for the holes next to the speedo and tach.

Your paint job on your throttles looks pretty good. Considering the cost of new not a bad way to go. I would like to redo the dash on my 29 twin. I had thought about having the throttles powder coated.
Anyway I'm sure it will make a nice improvment to your boat.

Jerry.

looks good. You can put some red Fountain pilot lights in there, just don't hook up the wires.

if you have zero effort you can Polish them and paint the base

I recieved my new dash lites from Fountain today. Took the old one and hit the chrome bezel lightly with a grinder then poped it right off, leaving the all white rim. Now that you have your chrome ones installed.

Where did you get your switch covers? Now that I look at mine, I don't care for the clear covers.

I think I bought the covers from allied electronics. They are like McMaster-Carr for electronics parts.

i got the switch covers from livorsi

i reused the old lights, and i like the way the black sets off the dash. They match the boots on the switches and the steering wheel.

i'm happy with the paint on the throttles. It's not that great if you look really close, but most people will never notice. it's a vast improvement over before... all the paint was chipping off the controls before due to rust.

Do you remember the cost of them? They have some of my stuff now for rework, might as well have them through some in the box.
Thank
