Snielson,

If you haven't installed the dash panel yet, order ya two drive temp gauges and move the fuel gauge next to or close to the silent choice switch on the starboard gunnel by the switch panel that has the cockpit lights, cabin power, engine hatch switch...etc, etc. The open hole above the steering helm can be your hour meter or depth gauge. I ordered the combination hour meter/8000 rpm tachs when I redid my dash. It made a clean install and allowed me to add the extra two drive temp gauges. I'll try and find a picture and post it. If you already have it planned out, disregard. Just that I would give you another possible dash setup option. Any questions about the 27/29 let me know. I've got a 91 29 fever twin big block that I have added numerous upgrades to over the past 10 boating seasons. Enjoy, Nixter.

Snielsen. I need your help! I want to have the kind of chain block above your boat to lift my formula. Could you tell me what it is made of ? What is the size of the H beam? height ? width ? same thing for the kinf of post that hold the H beam. Tubing ? thickness ? How is the H beam attached to the 2 post? Snielsen, Yeah the line I usually get is "That boat looks incredible but I bet it gets hot as hell!!!!" I just use white fountain towels on the red interior and when I need to walk on the deck.

What did you decide on the gauge setup for the dash? Have you got the engines and drives out of it? Let me know on what your progress is with the project. I'm doing some planning on trying to lighten the stern up in mine.....new batteries from Teague (26lbs) and repositioning my drive trim pumps so its easier to work on the engines. I'm 6'5" 250lbs so I need all the room I can get. Eventually I build some all aluminum engines and lighten the engine hatch and get rid of 600-700lbs. Keep us updated, Nixter.

im really consintrating on getting the boat to a stock power setup...this will be a big speed upgrade from my previous boat and i want to get used to the power before i start going for speed upgrades. next year im going to tweak it. im just going to put a clock on the bottom left and the depth finder in the center. im more concened with how im going to put the LCD remote display next to the silent choice switch. the dash looks awsome w/ the chorme bases. the billet design is worth the extra money for sure. The red knobs are cool to..the interior is going to be all white vinel with white strips red carpet and red powder coated grab handles. the steering wheel from livorsi is red w/black leather grips on the sides. im even getting the red cup holders! will have more pics soon
