Re: project 27
Pull My Trigger,
Before I put on the 2" Imco shorties, The old Bat Boat would run 80.5 MPH GPS. After installing the Imco's I know my midrange has picked up with the 5 Blade Hydros, but I need to dial in my props to get a better reading. They're P-5's with diffuser rings. I got up to 79 MPH with 3/4 fuel and 3 people on board. I had it trimed out and WOT and RPM's were 4800-4900. I'm going to have the diffuser rings taken off and have the props labbed/blueprinted and I should see 82-84 MPH. THe boat handles great with the shorties and the P-5's and it throws a nice rooster tail! Nixter

Looks good. Install some red cupholders in the bolster bases while you got it apart.
I went the other way around with my rails, grab handles, and seat bases. They where all powdercoated white. I stripped them bare, sanded and polished to a mirror finish. My coating had a few chips on them, and the white always looked dirty, plus I like the polished look. More shine..
