I have a buddy with a 1990 35 that runs mid 80s says the 35s with the steps cant keep up in the rough stuff. I do know that it just flys through the s##t like it was glass. big heavy tank but it is fast with outn that much power. just my 2cents

The executioner is a little slower in calm water (3-4 mph_(assuming equal power), but the executioner is faster in the rough stuff. The double step brings the drives out alot easier and not only slows it down, but it breaks drives easier. I have a 38, but friends of mine had each and I prefer the single step.
