Banana Bolster Seats

I have a 1990 29 with the mechanical bolster seats. There is a button in the headrest that you push to release the latch. The problem is the latch on the passenger seat is missing and I can not seem to find a replacement. The one on the drivers side is there but does not work very well. Does anyone know where I can get these latches? Thanks

Sounds like a tough job..... I will be heading up to the lake tonight and will give you a call tomorrow. When did you buy the 35? I was thinking about upgrading this winter.

So do you have any idea on where I can get replacement latches? I have checked with Fountain, Shogren and Fountain of North Dallas with no luck.

If I can not find the latch, how hard would it be to retrofit the seats with electric bolsters? How much $$ would I be looking at?

Any thoughts?

Re: Bolster Seats

Ball park price from Fountain was $3500 each for new bolsters. Makes that so called "junk" look a little better. Should be able to rework the ones that you have or be able to find somebody that can.

Check with Lofty, I thank he said that he had some used bolsters at one point. He might also be able to help in reworking or upgrading yours.
