2006 42' Fountain Poker Run
Looking at buying my first Fountain

I currently have a 312 formula fastech and im ready to upgrade. I'm looking at a 02 38' lightning w 575's sc. It has 150 hrs, fresh water only and looks in excellent shape. have not seen it in person yet but i plan to in a week or so. claims it will run in the low 90's. Any pros or cons to this boat that I should look out for? any opionons would be greatly appreciated. What price is reasonable for this boat? thanks!

Thumbs up Re: Looking at buying my first Fountain

A friend had the exact same package 38 w/ 575's , his ran in the low 90+ range. He is always very positive on both the boat and the engines. I have a 35 now and have been starting to look into the 38 as well. Everything I am seeing would lead you believe it is one he!! of a hull. I am a huge fan of Reggie's boats, have owned lots of others, the last being a Velocity, which dosen't even begin to compare. Good Luck.

Re: Looking at buying my first Fountain

If the 02 38 your talking about is at shogren's, I've seen the boat. It was in excellent shape and very clean. I would consider it but I'm looking for a 35 lightning w/500's. Good luck!

What year are you looking for? I've got a 35 with 500's that I might part with.

Great boat and great engine package. Easy low-mid 90's all day long.

Would if I could, not good with the E-mail Chit, and the little woman is gone for a couple days. Send me a PM, That I can do. Sorry, I'm not the best with this computer stuff.

I'll be talking to her tomorow AM and could have her pull it up for me, either way, let me know.
