Red face white vent on bow

what does that little plastic white vent go to?its near the bow eye?

My 35 Ex has one too (no anchor locker)...my guess is it's a drain for the void where the anchor locker would be! Someone will know, have to wait and hear from the right person!

It is to equalize the atmosphere in that small sealed chamber behind the mirror to fight condensation that would accumulate if it were not vented . kind of like turning a glass upside down in the sun water droplets form on the inside from humidity and temp differential. My old 35 did not have one and it was like a greenhouse sometimes when I replaced my bow lights
I drilled a vent into the cabin and the problem was solved..
