Re: Paging anyone from Shogren or lake Cumberland marine
When I first contacted LCM for my present boat. I dealt with Randy the whole time. I was not even aware that he was the owner. Treated my and my wife and the kids Great during the whole transaciton. I did not get any impression that he was arrogant at all...in fact very down to earth and just a very quite man but very very busy. I recommend that you give them another shot.
Now for Shogren, I have heard alot of positive things for them as well.
Just my 02

I dealt with Matthew Smith @ pier 57, they are the best to deal with. I bought my 32 from them, and am in the process of buying a 35. He will be honest with you and give you a great deal.

That is one bad azz boat !!! Does he still use the trailer with the fuel tanks built into the bottom of the trailer? I believe it holds something like 300 gal of fuel.
Check out the pump system on the front of the trailer. It even measures the amout of gallons that you're pumping, it has a flow guage built in the pump.
I was in and out of that boat soo many times, Scott told me that it had my name ALL over it, that I should just take it home with me. He said that it'll run in the 20's with the 4 bladers on it.
How's it run???
The couple of things that kept me from buying it was 1. I HATE those front seats !!! 2. was'nt real fond of the graphics on the side, 3. I did'nt think that I would be able to dunk the trailer with the fuel tanks empty. I thought that the trailer would float, unless the fuel tanks were full. and 4. my suburban would have a real tough time pulling that boat on that trailer since there was soo much tongue weight on it. Which meant that I'd HAVE to buy a dually to pull it every weekend. 5. I really want a boat that has the tail pipes exiting over the swim platform, not below it, just my preferrence, that's all. That was just my situation. Had I already owned a dually truck, the boat would've looked alot better. I could've lived with the graphics, but definately NOT the front seats.

paging Shogren or any dealer. Do you know if the Fountain dealers are going to have the Panasonic hi-def DVD's for sale? There is suppose to be a Cat-Killer DVD out there from Key West I believe. I was told they are giving them away or using them in demonstrations for there T.V.'s. Would love to buy one...get my hands on one?!@# Any idea?
