Props rotating in, terrible around docks - but as I much as I've spent on trying to go fast I wouldn't think of giving up 1-2 mph.

When the props spin in they fight against each other not allowing you to have the outside thrust to turn the boat as easily with the shifters. When you spin in you then have to use the wheel that much more, for example; if i am going to park against the dock on the stbd side i would put the stbd drive in reverse, port in forward and turn the wheel directly to the stbd side, the boat will walk straight in (no wind condistions obviously) if you did the same thing with props spinning out the boat will just sit in place then begin to go backwards. Without getting long winded the difference is spin in the thrust fights against each other, spin out thrust goes away from each prop.

Hope that makes any sense and helps you guys out.
For overall performance, handling etc I would spin out for the little top end speed loss.
