Re: opinions on 32 fever
I have a 1998 (single step) 32 Fever. I love it! We get compliments all the time on how well it runs in rough water. I have twin 502 mags with gil exhaust and risers. It will run 80 mph on the gps any day of the week. I have yet to be outrun by a 35' with the same power. It is by far the best driving boat I have ever owned.

I run 76 with 3/4 tank and four people at 5150 turning labbed 26 hydros. i could only pull 5000 before I got the props done running 75-76 at best.
I can hit 78 turning 5150 with 1/2 tank and two people. The best I have seen was 78.6 in the ozarks this spring with air temp about 55 and 1-2 foot chop by myself and not much gas.
Tabs at 3 (flat) drives at just a tick above 6 on the drives (5 7/8)

I have not tried Hydro props. My 1998 32' single step Fever has stock 502 mags with Gil headers and risers. The best speed I have seen is 84 mph one way on the gps. Running the opposite direction it only ran 78 for an average of 81 mph. This was with two people in the boat and a half tank of gas. Six mph is a lot of difference but it was with a good wind and strong current. I am running lab finished 30 pitch Bravo I's and I am taching them 5200 rpm's. These props were originally lab finished by Mercury Racing and recently dialed in by BBlades. BBlades said to figure them at 29 pitch as all Bravo I's are about 1 inch less pitch than what they are stamped.

I tried some 28 or 30 (I forget) Bravos last summer. Couldn't turn them, too much prop. As it is now, my rpms won't go past 5000.

My 2001 35' would only run 74 with 502s and stock 26 Hydros. The CMI e-tops were a nice addition, but didn't notice any increase in speed. In fact, I only picked up 4 mph when I added headers and Arizona speed package. I stayed with 26 Hydros, but my rpms increased from 4900 to 5200.
