The 32 runs well, had one with HP 500's, 82 mph, but try to find a 35, better balance, same speed same power, more room.

Re: opinions on 32 fever
I seriously considered one before buying my 35. Several years ago there was quite a price difference between the two, but with the market soft now, maybe not as much now.

I looked hard at one, climbed all over it test drove it twice. I passed. I'd HATE to have to do any engine maintanance in a 32! They are smaller than the 35 and still slower with the same power. I did not thing the overall balance was right.

I have a 2000 32 with stock 502's...I love the boat it handles great, pops right up on plane and runs 78 on gps all day long. The 35 is also a great boat but I dont really use the cabin so the extra room you get is not really an issue. I love the 32 look as it sits in the water. I does sit low in the back..I have people come up to me all the time telling me my boat is sinking at the dock!
Good luck

32s are great boats. I have a 35 and had a 32 last year. The only size difference I can see is in the engine compartment. The cockpits are the same and so are the cabins. If there is any size difference at all in the cabin it is not much.

I've never experienced this squirrly issue on my '99 32'. However, it is more solid with the props turning out, vs turning in, which Fountain sends them out as. More speed some say, I noticed no change in speed, just handleing and docking control. I love mine, but can't wrong with bigger if possible. If I did have to do it again, I might have looked more for a 35. But a 32 it what I had my sights on at the time do to the price difference.
I have no problem working in the engine compartment. Sure it's tight, but I'm just a little chit. I can wiggle down in front of the motors to change the sea water pumps sitting on the bottom.

Re: opinions on 32 fever
I have a 35 now,but my my last boat was a 32 fever. I loved the
32.Mine was older & didnt have steps. It handled great. Like a sports
car. The only thing I like better about my 35 is the walk around.
Crawling over the windshield to get on the deck was a biotch!
Oh yea, I like the split engine hatch on my 35 better too.

Re: opinions on 32 fever
I love my 96 32 with stock 502,s. I can run 78 gps all day long, and it handles great. As far as a 35 with 502's running the same speed, I think that would be interesting.
