Re: New to me Fountain Owner
My performace report states 77 as top speed with the 365hp 454's. I am currently seeing just under 70, 69.8 to be exact. I do not think this boat would do 80 with these engines, even new.

Re: New to me Fountain Owner
Sea-dated, I dont have the mags, only the 330's So ill be seeing even less. The owner claims he's seen 72 in ideal conditions but says around 65-68 is more "average" Its running the factory 25 pitch counter quicksilvers on Bravos with nosecones. Are they factory?
Also, has anyone weighed there 88/89/90 27'/29' loa fever w/ BB or SB's on a trailer. I've seen so many different rating and I'm not to sure what to do. I have a 06' Trailblazer SS with a 6800 lb capacity, and I'm wondering if its ok for short (under 10 miles) trips.
Truck on dyno after tune. 345 hp 377 tq 6.0 LS2

Re: New to me Fountain Owner
I do not know how much mine ways but it is a a$$ heavy with the big blocks. I tried using an 8000lb lift and broke it in the back. I am now using a 10,000lb lift with no problems.

my 29, steel trailer, with 3/4 tank of fuel all our chit for a weekend wieghed 9500.......I pull it with a 94 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel Suburban......the handling is fine , can eat your burger and fries with the boat on the back no problem.....power.....6.5...another story......before that pulled it around for two years,100 mi round trip every time out every weekend with a 89 full size 4x4 Blazer with a 350......no eating a burger and fries with that combo!......you had to stay on top of it, and NEVER over 75mph......10mi with your Trailblazer probably ok......truck is nice and low.......not all lifted......nice short/stiff sidewalls on your tires......should be ok......doug
