Default any help on changing color of cooler and cabin console?

did a cabin upgrade only thing left is the cooler area.now it is black and would love to make it white.has anybody changed or refaced this trying to figure out best way to update it.thanks for any info.

It's just a fomica laminate. If you don't mind the work, take it out and apart and replace the fomica. Some of the thinner peices that sep the strip lighting might be easiet to just start from scratch. I have mine apart installing the AC unit. Not that bad of a project.

Don't know about painting over. Might chip easily.

thanks i may try to get it out.any info on removing it?is it screwed from the inside?i did new interior if i recall the one seat is bolted to it.(back that is)i wander what a new one would cost ?i called fountain 3 times and no answer yet.go figure!!

Bolted down from the inside along the bottom outer edge, LONG screws. I found it easist to remove the sink and cooler 1st and work thru those holes. Then remove the nuts on the counter bottom side to remove the top half with the strip lights from the counter base, then the base mounting screws. Proabably less than an hr of time. 1/2 to scope it out, 1/2 to actually do it. Mine had 1 backrest bolt thur it also, but I removed the back along with the seat all together for ease of working in there. The top had to be removed from the base on mine just to get it out the door anyways.

US thanks alot i think you convinced me that it will be worth it and after all new white interior that is the only thing that i haven't taken out of this boat so then i can say that i have stripped everything.thanks again!!!!!!
