They are steps that float when the lift is down so you can hold the boat in place while the lift is coming up. They are nice feature when you have an end slip.

I see, so backing in is not an option with that style of lift?

What would you LOTO guys pay for a used 8k lbs poly lift?
04' model with the twin bunk step hull setup.

I have a sunstream 10500lb float lift on a 91 35 in a port owned boathouse. It works geat .You can flush the motors and wash the boat and no messing with a trailer or towing the boat home
