It was an 06, best speed was 93.3. Normal load fuel people ect. it would run 90.

(7) 24, 29, 32, 35, 3-38s, Like the 29 the best and then the 38 canopied raceboat, then the 38 w 700's.

2... '92 29ft w/ twin 502's, (78 WOT), and '99 35 Lightning w/ Tyler Crockett HP 600's, (90ish to date). The 35 is hands down the best ride.

just a question, i was looking on the fountain website, how come the lightnings are so much faster then the executioners?

Have1997 27' fever with 500hp which is for sale and 1999 35' lightning w/572 and looking for 42' w/o power stag.

Entirely different bottoms, the Executioner is the tried and true single step bottom design and the Lightning is the newer twin step bottom, the '07 & '08 35's are also a full staggered set up which further adds to the performance. In a standard side by side set up there is an 8 to 10 mph difference between the two hull designs, the staggered set up adds another 8-10 mph on top of that. I've owned both, had a '99 single step and bought an '06 twin step Lightning this fall. Both are great boats, but the newer design is definetly the faster hull. I believe on the site they show the Executioner with 496 Mag HO's around 80 mph, while the Staggered 35 Lightning is shown with 525 EFI's at 100+.

Both had there strong points, but prefer the 32 over the 27.
