Default Speed on a 1990 27 Fevever Twin 454

Anyone have one of these or had one ? Would be nice to know top speed.
2 Fresh 454 GM Crate motors..Not a lot done to them but fresh. Coned bravo out drives.
Not much other performance parts other than steering and freshwater pumps.

I am open to prop choice ideas to get the right set up ...Chad

do you know what hp?......what props are on it now?

a lab finished 3 blade Mirage will probably give you the most all out top speed.....i wanna try some Merc Revolution 4s on mine this year though although they only go up to 25 pitch I think......supposed to give good bowlift which mine could use and supposed to give you a better cruise speed per given rpm......IMO i have too much wetted surface the way it is

I had a 1990 with twin 365hp 454's. They had about 550 hours on it and were a little tired. Also, the props had some dings in them but I saw 70 once and 68 anytime I wanted to. The performance report that came with the boat showed a top speed of 77 but I doubt that was ever achieved after the one time Reggie drove it.
