Default Windsheild replacement????

Ive searched but i cant find an answer to this question. Can you add the race fairing in place of the plexiglass windshield on a 35 Executioner? If you can what is the approximate cost of this, and where do you go to get it done?
Thanks

Yes it can be done. Call Fountain HQ and ask for customer service and ask them for a dealer in your area that they would recommend for the job. They can also give you a price on the fairing. Phone: 252-975-2000

I went from a race fairing to a windshield on my 38 fever and I think it cost around 2500 after labor. For some reason I think the fairings are more.

zitoracing... what did you use to paint it and how did it come out?

I broke the door into my cabin last year (rather, someone else broke it). I glued it back together but I want to paint it to hide the crack. My dash is white, so I want to paint the doors to the cabin and the glovebox door white to match. personally, I like the old-school look of the black windshield and hatch on the bow.

Epeek, who is on this board did just what you are talking about, he is located in NY. I bought his old windshield for my 35 to replace my broken windshield. Maybe he will answer your questions or you could IM him.

Yep. Had mine done a Fountain. (was in for warranty work) cost about 3k. installled. Pretty easy to
do yourself if you have one shipped.

Sommersfliesby,
What was the cost of your wind screen and did it come painted or did yoy paint it yourself ? Been thinking of painting the Plexi windscreen on my 42X or having a race fairing made. My wind screen would be White.
