Default Looking for Help 1990 27 Fever

I am looking for advice on what to consider for a Prop on a 27 Fever with twin 454 mags. I believe they are 385hp each. Boat gets on plane now ok with the stock Mirage 3 blades but would like to see a few more MPH to get the boat over 80. Runs about 77 right now.

Mirage 25s?? What are your top rpms at WOT?
And, are you sure it's not a 29' vs. a 27? Never saw a 27 w/ twins...

Anyway, if you have room in your RPM range before hitting the rev limiter, get your 3 blades labbed for more RPMs which will speed you up.

I will have to check and see whats on there now. I am new to boating. Spent my entire life in Rear Engine Dragsters. Thought I would get out of racing because of the cost and get into boating to not spend so much money. Ask me how thats worked out??? I have many people look at me funny when I tell them its at 27 Fever with the twins but the title clearly states 27' It does measure 29' to the swim platform. I will get the info on the props and post it. Is lab the terminology used for fixing or blueprinting the props? I have heard that term but not sure what it means.

My 1990 27/29 has twin 454's, 365hp. running 25p mirage. I've only tried a set of labbed 26p bravo 1's for a couple runs, seemed better on mid range, but the mirage was better on on top end, both ran 5000 wot. Mine runs low 70's. If you guys know anyone looking for a clean fountain, let me know. Sorry, not sure how to post pics.
