Candyman-Southern Lake MIchigan?
Dan- What our the happening times in the southern spots like South Haven, MI City(can you park at the casino), Chi Town ect. I think we are planning on rolling to Chicago for a couple of days during the week of the Forth. Hopefully +4 on my rig, pocket change, maybe Apache Kid and his Top Gun, and we'll see who else wants to go. Do you go there allot? We definately will have to make a time to hook up at some point. I am planning on moving around a little more this year rather than spending every single weekend in Grand Haven. We stopped in South Haven for SOTW, I hadn't been there since I was a kid, It looks like it might be kind of a happening little spot at night. Its nice to be able to moorn over night near the scene. Let me know. Midnight

Chad,
Hammond is a good place for an overnight to Chicago. Gas is cheaper than the city and the Marina is very nice. You've got the Riverboat there with restaurants and snack shops. Hammond is about 15 miles south of the city. You need to reserve slips at least a month in advance.
The fireworks in Chicago are great. The amount of idiots out to watch them makes it not worth going. Amateurs night out! Air and water show weekend is great if the weather cooperates. There was a bunch of OSO boats going to meet last year but the weather sucked. It was more like the North Sea.
I'd like to try to get a bunch of us together for some runs over the summer. There was talk last year of us meeting in the middle of the lake.
If the weather permits I want to splash in April this year. May and June my business goes crazy and I don't get much boating in. After July I'm available every weekend. We will figure something out.
41 days till the ramps open, but whose counting.
Dan

Yeh, I'm going to be in the water as soon as the weather first breaks. I will be the idiot in the snowmobile suit and goggles, all by myself, people looking out at me thinking what the F#$K does that #sshole think he's doing. I'm making up for payment trips to the credit union in the dead of winter!

I would be in for some fun runs with other Fountains
Heard that Riverview Marine has 1 or 2 slips in Hammond for demo's...maybe we could barrow them for a night or two.
