There is a huge difference in cabin room and headroom from 42 to 47 in Fountains. Right now they're about the same price. If you are concerned about cabin head room, you're much better off with a 47.

Who cars about the headroom - the cabin is a place to store your cockpit cover. You dont like it go buy a sea ray.

It's 4'10". The cabin looks great in pictures and the layout is actually pretty good, but you should actually get in one. Some people don't mind, but for me the height is a killer. It is like a coffin. I overnight a lot so it makes a big difference. All a matter of preference

OK, OK - my answer was a little over the top. I apologise. Only meant to say that I havent seen a fountain yet where headroom was the major reason for the purchase since they really dont have any - mine included. I can sit up in the cabin but thats about all - but you werent really asking about a 35 anyway.

I nearly bought a 42, but the lack of headroom caused my back to ache. So I bought a 32 sportfish cruiser. I overnight nearly every time I take the boat out.

35 fountain..... no problem. I do overnight alot and dont want to feel to cramped. If I can get a 42 I think I can learn to live that though. Got to give up somethings for the best handling, fastest v bottem out there!!!!!!

I think 47'. Man there are some deals out there on tripples!! If your not hammering it all the time the tripples would be a great choice. I have had both. I also like the 47 because it comes with all the overnight goodies. That is the only reason I went to the 47. I did a ton of overnights on the 42 also but just loved the 47. The 47' tows harder.
