The one up in South Haven I think also had a high X, it was a twin step . If you already have 3's then just go with the 5's , really don't think you'll break them. I have 4's on a 38 and on a new 30 i'm putting together.
I have one of the guys numbers from up there I could probably call him.

Still no decision on 5's or 6's.
5's are around 12k for drives only, and depending on the 6's 20k and up. Really wish I could get a photo of the back of the boat with six's!
The three's are up for sale. This is a great set of 3's

If you end up putting #5's on, you'll probably have to install some boxes, or the drive will be a bit too high to get the boat to plane off. That's going on the dimensions that were from where the 3's were origionally installed.
The 10 meters are nothin more than a 35, without the swimplatform. Here's a pic of my 10 with factory installed boxes and #5's. Don't know if this helps, but with the swimplatform, it's gonna be a tight fit.

What about these? Lighter than #6 stronger than #6 and mount 3½ inches lower.
Pat Weismann also says that they are faster than #6's
