Default 1988 40' Fountain 12M - Formerly at Lake Cumberland?

Does anybody know anything about the 1988 40' Fountain 12 Meter that was for sale at Lake Cumberland? The boat had HP500's and TRS drives, white hull with purple and pink 80's graphics and a radar arch?

Any additional information, good, bad or ugly would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Harry

That's correct, it's in Cleveland right now. I'm wondering if anyone knows the history of it, good or bad, prior owners, etc.?

Check your PM box, I'd like to pick your brain if I may?

Thanks,

Here's a better question:

Does anyone know how, or why all of these Lake Cumberland Boats wound up in repo status? I feel like I remember reading a story a while back, but I'm not sure. Furthermore, were these boats that LCM took on trade, and then had their floorplan financing yanked, or were these customers' boats? Or, were they originally chosen by the bank to liquidate, and then were unsuccessful? If so, who was the bank?

That's a lot to digest . . . I tend to ramble when I see something I want!

No, I'm actually thinning the herd a bit . . . the 35' Mistress sold a couple years back, the 26' Corsa is going to be sold if I purchase the Fountain or something like it, the 16' Magnum Missile is going to be restored to a certain point and sold, and I'm not sure what I'm doing with the Whiticar yet.

But you are right, one is never enough, and I'm definitely a big old school fan.
