new to fountain
I am thinking about buying a 27 fever in st. pete . I have been a donzi classic owner for years but wanted something a little bigger and the price seems right .. your opinions are appreciated !

I have one up in Jax. I will make you a deal and help with deliever if you are in Fl. Just bought a new boat and don't want 2 pmts. My boat is in the classifieds.

The 27 is a nice boat, depending on where you boat. Lakes and protected rivers they are ok. The 29 single is a better all around boat, more cockpit room, handles rougher water better, and still small enough to tow with 1/2 ton pickup. But if you are buying on price you have to go with the best deal for you.

I appreciate the offer but have put a little down on the 27 that lightning bay has listed , pending a compression/leakdown test and sea trial ..

My first FOUNTAIN, was a 27 loved the boat, had a HP 500 in it ran real strong. I screwed the boat up, put a pro charger on it.... Ran faster, blew up drives etc....

LOL ! i put a 383 in my 16 classic in front of an alpha drive . I know the drill !
I pulled the trigger and should pick it up sometime this week when the trailer is ready .. Really looking forward to the new boat and learning the left hand controls !

I thought the samething about left hand controls, they are great. When I'am docking I stand in front of them it's alot better than right hand controls.

I am a lefty and I must be a little slow but after throttleing and shifting with my left had for 25 years it took me 2 years to readjust. I hear most people have a much simpler time with it
