Question 1985 40' fountain

there is a 1985 40' fountain for sale in classifieds, it looks really clean and I am making arrangements to take a look at it in person. Just wondering if anyone has any info on the older style hulls and or input on what to look for when I take a look at it. It looks as the owner spared no expense on the refit.

That's a nice boat, especially for the asking price. It looks like the owner has just about that much wrapped up into the drives (Konrads) and engines...

Zul power and Konrads will make this a great package.
It about my favorite Fountain, and one of my favorite boats/deals on the market right now.
Here is a thread about it.

Just by looking @ the pictures I would say she looks great, always get a survay just to make sure its not water logged? The price is on point with that year and with all the up dates it seems like it worth a more serious look.

Awesome boat! The only negative is insurance is going to kill you if you find someone to write it. I have the same problem.

Question rates?

what kind of rates are you paying on your fountain? I also live
in jersey, by the shore.
