Default 38 Lightning Speeds

What kind of speeds would you wxpect to see on a 2000 38 Lightning with 500s? As a boat approached 300 hrs., what should a potential buyer start to be looking for?
Thanks,
Rob

Have a friend with that package and I think the best he's seen is around 78.

Had a 2001 same package run 80 mph on gps with 28" bravo 1 blades stock. Fuel load or weight in boat didn't change the speed.
