Once you get the stains off, get some "Suspend". It's a serious pesticide you can only get at pest constrol supply stores, it's pretty pricey, but it works. I use it to treat my boat house and garage...no more spiders! Also avoid light at night in your storage area, especially if you are near the water, no light = no bugs = no spiders.
