Default 98 fever 32 pricing

I am looking for a little input for you guys who have been around Fountains for a while. I am currently looking at a 1998 fever 32 that has been repowered with hp500 efis. The boat originally came with 454's. Hull has 390 hours and the 500's have around 120 hours on them. Boat appears to be in excellent shape. I haven't really been able to compare any boat i find to this one for this price. Does 44k sound reasonable for a 98 32 fever with twin 500hps? color scheme is a red and black, interior and exterior appear to be in near new condition... whats a few things that you experienced guys have came across when looking to buy fountain. I am aware of all the obvious mechanical checks, compression, drive lube oil, and what not.. This will be my first fountain and I'm just trying to be cautious about the purchase. Seems like a great deal according to my research. Any input is much appreciated!

$44k is a decent price. If you want a comparison I looked at a 32' with 502 mag EFIs. The boat and the motors had 700 hours on it, and it was aggressively priced at $34k. I think the two boats are definitely comparable, and it would cost at least $5k per side to swap out the motors to 500hp EFIs.

I think if the boats clean it's a pretty good deal...

So did you buy it? Sounds like you are looking at Dookie's boat on this site. Saw it on ebay last week.
