A Twin Engine Fountain Is Wire So The Direction The Arrow On The Switch Is Pointing Port/starboard Is The Battery That Is Being Used Not The #1 Or #2 So If You Point The Starboard Switch To Starboard It Will Use The Starboard Battery Same With Port Point To Port Is Uses The Port But If You Point To Starboard It Will Use The Starboard And Of Course Both It Uses Both

Yeppers, that's the easiest way to remember it.... left motor, left battery, left battery switch points left, and right, right , right, right
