Wow in only one day I got all this good info Thanks guys. The cabin space issue was good info. I plan on trailering the boat because of ramp space around the upper Chesapeake bay and keeping the boat in the shop. Speaking of the shop. I do all my own work on my boats. So repair and parts cost are cut big time. But thanks for the tune-up cost info. To answer you speed question. Lets say cruise around 50 and getsome in the upper 70s or higher. I have all summer to make my decision because I don't leave Iraq until October. But keep any thoughts or comments on the 2 boats coming. So I can make a good educated purchase.

That will solve all your issues But then you can argue trailering
I'm sure you have 15 MPH on me, but I'll also bet you're three times the buy in price.
Where's the guy who started the thread????? What do you want in a boat? More importantly, what does your wife, family want? 'Cause if they're not happy, you'll never be.
Let's face it, you can get an 18' jet boat with 1000HP and be the fastest guy on the lake if you want. I'll be sitting in the cabin with the AC on watching VHS porn seeing you go by at 100 MPH rattling your teeth out if that gets you off. By the way....I'll still wave to you
