Fountain 27 502 MPI Vapor Lock - Booster Pump Install Help
I just received the booster pump kit referenced in Mercury Bulletin 99-7.
I started to loosely plumb the system last night, but prior to hard mounting the brackets, thought I'd ask for some advice.
Anyone install this kit on a 27 (or other Fountain) before? Any dealer techs here? Does your 27 have this kit factory installed?
I'd like to install as close to factory location as possible (if in fact that's the best location).

I went ahead and installed the kit. Have had the boat out twice and absolutely NO engine restart issues. This weekend will be the true test.
I'm still looking for pics of the kit installed on other boats - I'd really like to see how the factory installed kits are placed.
