Just for fun any guys with boats like this.....how much would you spend in todays fuel prices for a day of hard running...like in a Poker Run?

I remember reading the owner of the Smokin Joe 43 Scarab with trip 900s spent something like $50,000/yr on fuel and that was years ago.

My triple 540's was around 7 to 8 hundy...my twin 540's same engines 6 to 7 hundy

I'm sure Sunday will be around $900 with the prices they get up here.

Better not ba any more than that cause that's all the change I got in the console of my truck.

But I just have those little engines.

The most i've ever spent on fuel for the season was $8800
Even if that 47 doubled that....it would be worth it.

the cheapest part of owning a 47 is the fuel .but would not have it any other way .had the 38s and 42s my fuel consumption at 60 mph is 90 gal per hr at 3500rpm 3x800 sc

so like $400/hr.....would it double to $800 if you were to put the sticks to it?
