What do you guys think a good rate is?

I am at 7.25% and think it is high. It's the only thing we owe on, credit score is 820.

As of two months ago newcoast wouldn't finance my 99, I will say I don't Remeber if it was because of the age or dollar amount.

New Coast won't do it. Not even w 40 % down on a 80 grand boat. Have a credit union looking at it now.

Wow, they wouldn't do 40% down on 80k, that's rough. I am a union pipefitter and we have our own credit union, they never bat an eye at anything i want to buy, just sign and hand me a check, most of the time with zero down and very good interest rates(credit score in the 720 range), but i am sure they would want 10-20% on a boat. Haven't talked to them about it yet because i am not ready to pull the trigger until next spring. Good luck with finding someone!
