Default 42 Lightning Hull Design

Im looking at purchasing several different 42 Lightnings, and they range from 2000 to 2008. I just wanted to know if theres a difference in hull design? step size? and which one is most efficient?

Default Anyone????

I have been told that the 2000 to 2006 are the same and the 2007 to now is a different hull design.

Anyone know the difference in step height, or spacing? and which hull is more efficient.

The new bottom allows the hull to take more power. The angle of attack and strakes were changed in 2005 to allow flatter faster turning.
