Default H.P. 500's

I am in the process of repainting all the blue parts on my hp500's, what i need to know is there any special process to the paint procedure. The parts have all been sandblasted and i have ordered new intakes. My concern is the belt pulleys and how they will hold up to the constant wear. Any help will be appreciated.

thanks for the info do u happen to have a paint code on the paint or a number. I can get the paint from Teague but its 24 bucks a can. I don't mind paying the price, but if i can find the same thing locally that would be a plus.
