Dark colors may fade quicker though.
I would never ride with a bimini top up and have thought about pulling the trigger on this http://www.boatersland.com/tayashade.html
saw one on a 35 and guy said it worked great. Plus it should be easier to store.

You have to do what you have to do! I had a aliminum framed, green top on my older fountain. it was low profile and looked pretty good. We could cruise with it all day. 50 mph is as fast as I would push it but ur for sure not going to be doing any WOT passes. Go ahead and get it! Can always take it down on cooler days!
