I finally installed the festoon lights. Thanks again they look awesome and the part number was correct.

Side note.....Doesn't the word festoon make you laugh. The first time I heard what those bulbs were called I started laughing.

That LB1 model says 13 VDC maximum (not for automotive applications). What did superbrightleds.com have to say about that? Are they actually ok for automotive charging systems?

I didn't worry about that because I was installing in cuddy. They work great!

chances are they be ok as long as you don't plug in a battery charger that has a high rate charge stage with them turned on, or a really low battery with alt putting out high rate to recharge
