Default Water in Bilge

My Fountain continually gets water in the bilge and it is nearly impossible to get it all out short of shop vacing it out every time. The boat is stored on a lift year round. Will a little water in the bilge hurt or cause rot or should it be dried every week after use? I run the bilge pumps and get the majority out, but there is still a small amount in there every week.

Find the leak, your bilge should be dry. Which model? Each one has its own unique area to look at from leaks.

32 with the typical leaks. Comes in during deceleration and docking, etc. Just do not dry bulge every time we go out. I have the same problem he does.

I chased a leak for almost a year, it was the hose off the bilge pump was not above the water line, needs to be a foot or more, and would suck water back in, I used pull ties to make a 180 degree bend putting the top of the hose at the highest point, then i added 200lbs of sand to raise up stern in the forward hull.

My 35 does the same thing. Not sure where it's coming from.
