Hey guys, my two cents here. I have a 35 Lightning with 575SCI's that have Superchillers, cam changes, Dart pro one alum. marine heads. With smallest pulleys from Teague they made 859hp and 805ft. lbs. of torque! Great engines! watch your fuel though! good premium 93 octane only! blowers are the weak link and parts are hard to find. DMPE may be making gears... now for them though? different animal here but have been 104mph with some left. Biggest thing to pay attention too is amount of power verses drive or drives! XR's dont live!!!!!! a 575sci with superchiller and tune is a great combo.

540 C.I. with B&M 250 Blue Love It ! Dyno 634 HP

I'll hit 75MPH at 5000rpm and she will start to do this

Do what makes you happy and what you can pay for if and when it breaks.

I pound the hours on mine and am very happy

The motor came that way with slips tested from fountain gps at 88mph. I personally did about 80mph just got boat end of last year so I am curious to see what it can do. I have the testing paper work to show the numbers and tests if any one wants to see.
Kinda kool as reggie was the test driver.

This boat drives and handles nice with the single motor. Love it its my first fountain, I came from baja and what a difference.

Don't let that test sheet bother you if you can't re-create the speed. My test sheet shows 98.1 MPH on a 90 degree day. Best I have seen is 92.7 on a 60 degree day. Most days 89-90

I am near sea level.

My test sheet said 93. The person I bought it from had only ever gotten it to 92 until I showed up for the test drive and it did 93. When I got it home it would always do 93. Then I started tweaking!!!

Kevin,

I'm wondering if that is my old one. Where did you pick it up out of?
