This is definitely one of my concerns, as always, with any boat. I do think its a damn good deal.......unless the hull is a sponge.

What would this boat do top end? mid 70's?

Thanks for the info. One engine is "supposedly" brand new and the other runs great with only 60hrs. They want an extra 4G for the trailer.

It should run real close to 80, my buddy has the same boat, '97 w/502 MPI's & runs a solid 75, it is a good riding hull w/lots of room, lot of boat for the $$

The boat was a repo that was purchased from Lab Marine in Maryland. It was not brokered by a woman. Texas Boat Repos acquired it from Lab Marine, and it was sold to the current owner that has it listed on ebay. There was an issue with one engine, but it was repaired along with a brand new pair of CMI headers installed on it. The boat never had a trailer. The seller is legit, and straight forward. I would call him if you are serious about the boat.
