38 fountain painted dash & windshield
Purchased a 38 lighting out of New York late last year. I had Mitcher T paint the dash, windshield, rails and touch up the vinyl on the seats over the winter. They did a awesome job with great customer service told me to bring it in on Friday and was done the following Friday a man of his word.

How did you mount the snaps to the windshield frame? I painted mine red, but have the wide stainless pieces that snap into the windshield frame and they hold the snap. Like the much cleaner look of yours!!! Looks great.

I did the same on mine when I put in a shorty windshield. PROBLEM-make sure there is a Teflon washer under every snap between the snap and the windshield otherwise it WILL corrode due to dissimilar metal. I also put a dab of silicone in the hole before I screwed in the snap in order to have a little protection around the screw part for same potential problem. Same on the handles where they attached to windshield in back of crew seats. I guarantee it will corrode if you dont do this.

Hey, did you replace that plastic cup holder???? Every pic I've seen of one of those its broke. Can't someone design something better to hold a cold drink? Thanks for the input Viaqua as that is the next improvement on the 38EC.
