I didn't cut the top rail. Took the glass out , put the top rail back on with no glass. Reformed the top rail (hight & angel) . u will have to cut down the side struts and recut old glass with big ban saw. If u choose this method and use old glass it will limit the hight & angel . If anyone wants to go though all that as I did. It took 2 guys and a long weekend to complete the job. If anyone wants to take on that type of project u can PM me and I will give my phone # and help anyway I can. It was a lot of work but very gratifying and didn't cost me 7k

I'll probably try that over next winter, with boating season here I don't want to start a project like that and phuck it up and not be able to us it until I get it fixed. I'll keep you in mind when I get to that point.
