Call Fountain, they can tell you what prop was on the boat when it left the factory.

Its definitely a test and see with any boat, but a 24p bravo 1 will probably be where you are at. pretty sure they had raised the X dimension somewhere in the 98-00 area, and the bravo's became the more efficient prop. Test the 24p bravo 1 and a 24p hydro and see which one does what for you. An un altered hydro is usually a little tougher to plane, cruise speed is 1-2mph less, but out performs on the top end. If you have a higher X then the hydro will blow out most likely trying to plane. I have tested bravo 1 and hydro on my 27 fever with a 525sc. The hydro is labbed for a fountain. The hydro in my application was pretty much identical cruise, and 2.5ish mph faster up top. Boat is less likely to chine I have noticed with the hydro as well. It will still chine at 75-76 if I trim to fast, or tabs aren't set right, but if everything is done right it rides rock solid all the way up to 80mph, not sure about faster as the best I have done is 80.9
