My friend sprayed acid solution on the bottom of my boat, am I screwed?
We were washing my boat at my friends camp a couple months ago and before I noticed my friend was spraying like a watered down alumna brite solution on the bottom of my boat.... I was afraid of what was going to happen and he assured me that he does this to his offshore boat all the time.
It did whiten the bottom but was all chalky a couple hours later.... Now I am getting stains on the bottom and they aren't coming off.
Before when we would ride the yellow stain would come right off with a normal wash but now I am having a fit with this chalky white and stained yellow bottom.
What should I do to fix this?
Thanks in advance

There are lots of acids out there used to clean the bottom. It strips off any wax on there, so we just rewax after acid washing the bottom. Nothing serious to worry about

anytime I use something like that I immediately wax after it dries. If you r in a hurry just spray some type quick wax but use a good one.
I would say nothing to worry about just wax her.
