Default Merc 700sci rebuild??

I have just over 200 hours on my merc 700's and are planning on doing a leakdown test and compression check over the winter. I'm curious if anyone else has opened up there 700's and found anything???

Issues???

Does anyone have more hours without opening them up?

If everything looks good , I am going to replace valve springs and check again next year.

Any input would be great....

Thanks in advance for the help....

I did my 525's at 300 hrs and found a small exhaust leak from the CMI's. So make sure you check them really good. As far as the engines go, you have the same thing I think minus the blowers, I did a leak down test and found 1 exhaust valve that was on the fence so rather than fool around with it I just put in a new set while it was open. You have awesome motors and should be fine.
